Day 210: Sad Little Reindeer
December 23, 2009
It's been a terrible day today...
I lost my camera battery recharger. I'm assuming I forgot it at the hotel or something though I was SURE I brought it along. However, it is nowhere to be found. And my camera is completely dead.
Thankfully my sister let me borrow her camera. However, my mom up front told me "you're not getting a camera for Christmas". So...now I'm just getting a bunch of stuff I didn't even want. I'm thankful for it but it was kinda a stab in the heart...
I can't seem to find the recharger ANYWHERE online to buy. I know it was a hunt to find in the first place. So...I have to use my sister's camera until we can get ahold of that...if we can.
And then the computer decides to be a billion times too slow. It literally took 5 minutes to just OPEN the picture. So it took me a good hour to do this. Hence the crappy job...
And now mom's all mad at me because I turned off the stove. I'm sorry...the ENTIRE FLIPPIN HOUSE smelled like gas. I thought it was only natural to turn the stupid thing off. I'm sorry I didn't feel like dying today.
I fucking hate my life.
TRF: I miss my dorm room...I wish I had never come back to Ohio in the first place.
What's In My Bag for ETech 06
Here's what I'm taking to ETech (minus the cloths).
I like to travel as light as possible, so it's a laptop case, small bag for taking onboard, and a camera case. 10,000 miles, about 48 hours travel time, and two weeks packed into as small an area as I can manage.
If I grab a tshirt or two, I'm stuffed on the return trip :) .
